with plans announced in the Queen's Speech to make possession of extreme
pornography illegal ..."
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Introduction
Dudley Anderson was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. He became
a Christian at the age of 9 and served as youth leader for a small Baptist
church near Johannesburg during his teens. After graduating from Bible
College in 1990, God opened the way for Dudley to branch into Christian
radio. As a musician and worship leader he developed a heart for Christian
music, which became the main thrust of his radio work in South Africa.
In 1996 God called Dudley and his family to the United Kingdom where he
now works as a freelance radio presenter and pastors a church in Worcestershire.
Dudley is married to Karen-Leigh and has two children, Kerryn and Ryan.
Radio
Before moving to the UK, Dudley worked for a national radio station, called
Radio Pulpit and a community station called, Impact Radio in Pretoria,
South Africa. From 1998 to 2005 he was heard across Africa as he served
God as a radio presenter for The Voice-Africa, an international radio ministry
based in the English West Midlands.
Dudley also runs a voice over company called, Dudley Anderson Voice Production, which specialises in voice overs for Christian and church productions.
Worship Leading
Dudley began playing guitar at the age of 14 when he began leading the
singing for his Baptist youth group and school Student Christian Association.
Gradually he became more accomplished on his instrument and discovered
a God given ability of being able to lead people into a place of deep experience
of God though praise and worship. By the early 1980’s he was headed up
the worship ministry for an Assemblies of God church in Pretoria, South
Africa.
Gradually Dudley gained more experience in this ministry and, as God opened
opportunities for him to meet other leading worship leaders, he progressively
gained more experience until he was appointed music director for a large
church near Johannesburg. Leading two worship bands, he gained valuable
experience in the performing arts ministries, worship leading and worship
team management.
Dudley has published articles on contemporary praise and worship and has
interviewed several well known worship leaders such as Martin Smith, Noel
Richards and Darlene Zschech for his radio programmes. He has helped develop
local church worship teams and coached a number of worship leaders.
Church
Currently Dudley is serving as a pastor of a new cell-group church called,
Cornerstone Family Church in Worcestershire, U.K.
